Port of Skamania County
The Board of the Port of Skamania County (Port) Commissioners are seeking to appoint a qualified replacement for Port District 1 Commissioner. The appointee will serve until November 2021. The Port’s mission is to “identify, develop, and promote economic resources that foster diversity, prosperity, and quality of life for all citizens of Skamania County.” The three-member Board establishes the vision of the District, sets policy and priorities, approves budgets and annual tax levy, and provides direction for use of Port resources. Commissioners attend monthly meetings the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m.
Interested candidates should contact the Skamania County Auditor’s Office to determine if they reside in Port District #1.
